As I'm making final adjustments to my trip along the Via Appia Antica, I keep finding more spots to visit. There are too many to see in the amount of time I've planned. But, looks like I should stop for fries in Marino.

I'm heartened to see in this story that the Italian government has set aside more funds to transform what's left of the original Roman road into a, "pilgrimage route from Rome to Brindisi."

I look forward to making my own very soon!

On the Appian Way article, I find it ironic McDonald’s sits in a place of such historic significance (366 BC). Yes, grab an order of fries as you explore it … Haha!
